HOW IT WORKS

01. You need a card or token to play. Find a token on the map or attend Totally Legit. Keep an eye out on Instagram for side quests + behind-the-scenes.

02. Trade with a business.
To receive a card you must trade with a business. Find participating spots on the map. Each location on the map has their own requirement for the trade.

03. Claim a card.
Once the trade’s done, the business hands over a new card to add to your stash.

GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO COLLECT.

Hold onto your cards because there will be rewards to those who become Totally Legit.

TOTALLY LEGIT?

Totally Legit runs a real-world collectible card game across Hawke’s Bay.

You earn cards by visiting local businesses, completing fun little quests (like tagging them on Insta or buying something), and by attending events. There are 52 cards to collect. More will be revealed!

  • This is a ‘support local business’ card collection game. You support a biz, you get a card. You collect cards, you get rewards (yet to come).

    Basically a fun way to increase foot traffic + support businesses and have some good ol’ fashion FUN.

  • You must have a token or card to play.

    The card serves as an efficient way to notify Totally Legit Card Dealers that you’re part of the game during service or business hours.

    (I’m all about that efficiency)

  • You can find tokens on the map. You can grab a token at Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce or at Hapi.

    PS: There’s a limited stash. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. You’ll have to wait for the next drop.

  • Bruh. If you bring a mate to support local, they can 100% join the hunt. One of you MUST be a card holder and you both must support the business in order for both of you to receive a card. Alternatively, they can collect a token from local gateways. More on this later.

  • Don’t be greedy. I’ll find you, and I’ll slap you. Unless you bring a mate, then sweet. But also, this is the beta game. Sharing is caring (until I print some more then fair game. Yolo)

  • Don’t look at me bruh. If you lose a card, you lose a card.

  • Collect 15 cards and a side quest will be unlocked for you. Apparently. I don’t even know.
